Urban Triage Announces the Details of Their Grand Opening Event for Their New Office and Community Space

Urban Triage, Inc. is excited to announce the grand opening of the Urban Triage office and community space, located at 2312 South Park Street, Madison, Wisconsin, 53713.

With Wisconsin being a current COVID-19 hotspot, Urban Triage is emphasizing that they will be following all CDC and Department of Public Health requirements during their Grand Opening event, and this will be expected from all of the attendees. All guests will be required to wear a filtered mask or be offered one upon entry. Hand sanitizer will be handed out frequently, they are purifying their air, and adherence to social distancing will be mandatory. Attendance is limited for the event, so they are recommending everyone to please register early.  

Urban Triage has raised $63,250 of their $100,000 goal to cover the expense of creating a space for ALL Black people – a space that is culturally sound, welcoming, creative, and includes all the necessities required to capture and engage Black entrepreneurs, youth, families, and other populations that are often forgotten and most vulnerable. Urban Triage will celebrate this success by hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening event on Sunday, November 15th at their new community space.

On Sunday, November 15, 2020, there will be three separate in-person sessions for tours, and one virtual tour. There will be a half-hour between sessions for cleaning and sanitizing the space prior to the next session. Attendance is limited, so please register early. The registration link is provided on our website, in the Facebook Event, and below in this press release. The tours will be conducted as follows:

• Session 1: 12:00pm – 12:45 pm (This is a private tour)
• Session 2: 1:15 pm – 2:00 pm (This tour is open to the community. To register for this session, click here)
• Session 3: 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm (This tour is open to the community. To register for this session, click here)
• Session 4: (Virtual Tour) 1:15 pm – 2:00 pm (This tour is open to the donors and the community. To register for this session, click here)
