The Hemp Specialty Crop Program for Black Entrepreneurs is a Supporting Healthy Black Families (SHBF) economic empowerment workgroup designed by Urban Triage to restore land-based knowledge, expand Black ownership, and build generational wealth within the hemp industry. Rooted in Black lived experience, this workgroup supports participants to step into leadership as builders, visionaries, and stewards of community-centered enterprise.

Supporting Healthy Black Elders (SHBE) is a Supporting Healthy Black Families (SHBF) workgroup that honors, centers, and supports Black elders to live with vitality, purpose, and deep connection. Rooted in Black lived experience, this workgroup is a homecoming - restoring dignity, joy, and belonging at a stage of life too often shaped by isolation, loss, and systemic neglect.

The Supporting Healthy Black Agriculture Workgroup is where Black families reconnect with the land, reclaim our agricultural heritage, and build pathways to health, healing, and economic independence. For too long, systemic racism and generational trauma have separated us from the soil that sustained our ancestors. We’re here to change that, together.
