Healthy Youth

Cultivating Healthy Youth

Empowering Black communities through education, advocacy, and transformative support for lasting change.

Real Support for Youth

Our youth programming is youth-led and rooted in the real needs of our community. That means we listen, we show up, and we provide spaces where youth are seen, heard, and valued.

Meeting Young People Where They Are

We know how hard it can be to find support that feels real, especially when other places feel cold, complicated, or just not made for us, because we’ve been there. That’s why we meet youth where they are and create opportunities for them to grow, thrive, and break cycles of poverty and violence.

School Partnerships That Transform Youth Lives

We partner with schools to offer our personal transformation curriculum in a variety of school-based settings, including in-school, after-school, or during summer sessions.

Our Curriculum is More Than Just an After-School Program

It helps youth ages 14 to 18 build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful connections through a mix of personal development, social connection, and one-on-one case management.

Youth Housing System Improvement

Through a HUD Youth Homeless System Improvement grant, we are leading a project called The Tipping Point: Establishing a Culturally Specific Interstate Collective & Black Youth Advisory Team to Eradicate Youth Homelessness in Wisconsin.

Ending Youth Homelessness in Wisconsin

Our goal is to improve equity in youth homelessness response systems through statewide conferences, regional micro-summits, and youth and partner development retreats.

Building a United Front

To achieve that goal, we are establishing a statewide collective of culturally specific service providers who support the movement to eradicate youth homelessness.

Engaging Marginalized Youth

This collective aims to engage the most marginalized and transient youth populations in efforts such as asset mapping, community engagement and outreach, local events, and data collection and evaluation to build their capacity to help eradicate homelessness.

More than housing. A real home.

Emerging Adults Transitional Housing

It helps youth ages 14 to 18 build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful connections through a mix of personal development, social connection, and one-on-one case management.
