Kayla Conklin

Kayla Conklin, SHRM-CP, is a Human Resources leader committed to equity, advocacy, and community. She holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW-Whitewater, and currently serves as Talent Acquisition Manager at Summit Credit Union, where she leads strategic recruitment and champions inclusive hiring.

Beyond her professional role, Kayla is President of the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals, where she has explained partnerships and launched impactful initiatives. She is also the founder of Conklin Consulting LLC, an HR firm focused on building equitable, sustainable workplaces. Deeply engaged in her community, Kayla supports local nonprofits, Black-owned businesses, and youth services. Her mission is to inspire young, Black professionals to lead authentically in all spaces.
