Program Schedule (2024)
There are four application cycles each year:
- Cycle 1: Applications open February 14, with distribution in March.
- Cycle 2: Applications open May 15, with distribution in June.
- Cycle 3: Applications open August 14, with distribution in September.
- Cycle 4: Applications open November 13, with distribution in December.
Details
How It Works
- Applications open quarterly (four cycles per year).
- Funding is limited — individuals may apply once per cycle and receive assistance once per year.
- Not everyone who applies will receive a card or pass.
Application Process
- In-Person Applications:
Available first at Neighborhood House Resource Fairs (12–4 PM) on the listed cycle dates. - Online Applications:
If funds remain after in-person sign-ups, the online application will be posted at 12:00 PM the following day.
Priority Consideration
Priority is given to:
- Those who apply in person at our Resource Fairs
- Madison-area residents
- Individuals who have not received transportation assistance in the past year
Notification & Distribution
- Applicants will be notified within 1 month of applying.
- Approved participants may pick up bus passes or gas cards at Neighborhood House or receive them by mail to the address provided in the application.
