Homelessness doesn’t begin or end where we think it does.
SEEN & UNSEEN is an immersive, outdoor experience that pulls back the curtain on the realities too often ignored. Through four powerful stops around Capitol Square, you’ll walk the invisible journey from homelessness toward housing—witnessing the trauma, systemic barriers, and relentless effort it takes for our neighbors to survive, heal, and reclaim stability.
This is not an exhibit you observe from a distance. It is an experience meant to be felt.
Through striking visuals and unfiltered storytelling, SEEN & UNSEEN challenges us to confront what our community has learned to look away from—and invites us to step into responsibility, solidarity, and action.
“Homelessness isn’t just the absence of housing—it’s the accumulation of trauma, broken systems, and missed chances to intervene. Seen & Unseen exists to make the invisible visible, to tell the truths we’ve been conditioned to ignore, and to remind us that behind every statistic is a human life worthy of dignity, care, and sustained support.”
— Brandi Grayson, CEO & Founder, Urban Triage
Each stop represents a critical moment in the long, nonlinear path from homelessness to housing—where survival meets resistance, and support makes the difference between stagnation and stability.

This free, self-guided experience begins at noon with powerful speeches by Brandi Grayson and community/political leaders. Move through all four stops to witness the full story.
Bring your people. Share what you learn. The more who witness these truths, the harder they become to ignore.
SEEN & UNSEEN is part of The Big Share 2026—Urban Triage’s most critical day of collective action and giving.
Your contribution isn’t charity. It’s a commitment.
An investment in housing justice.
An investment in healing.
An investment in people who have been systemically pushed to the margins.
Every dollar fuels direct support, transformative programs, and community-driven solutions rooted in dignity and liberation. Together, we can turn awareness into action and make The Big Share 2026 our most impactful giving day yet.

This experience is powered by people who believe change is possible.
We’re seeking volunteers to support the installation on March 3 and beyond. Whether you can give an hour or want to deepen your engagement with Urban Triage’s work, there is a place for you in this movement. If you are an influencer, we would love to have you. Please reach out at contactus@urbantriage.org.

A world where everyone has the freedom, resources, and support to heal, self-determine, and fully self-actualize.

We’re excited to share that Cooper’s Tavern, located on the Capitol Square, is partnering with us for the March 3 Big Share! They are generously providing free boxed lunches for our staff, volunteers, and speakers, helping keep everyone fueled and focused throughout the day.
We extend our sincere thanks to Cooper’s Tavern for supporting our event and standing with us on Big Share. Their generosity makes a meaningful difference, and we’re grateful to have them as a community partner.
