We didn't launch Less Noise because hemp is having a moment.

We launched it because our people needed it, and because we were tired of waiting for systems to deliver what we already knew how to build ourselves.

Less Noise is Urban Triage's new full-spectrum hemp wellness brand, and it is exactly what the name says. Less noise. More healing. More intention. More ownership.

It launched on April 20, 2026,  and yeah, that date is on purpose.

Less Noise is a Wisconsin-grown, full-spectrum hemp and CBD wellness line featuring:

• Balms for relief and recovery,  made for the body that's been doing too much for too long
• Pre-rolls crafted from locally grown Wisconsin hemp, clean, tested, intentional
• Gummies for everyday wellness, because healing shouldn't be complicated

Where It Comes From: Seed to System

Less Noise products are developed in partnership with Stacks Family Farms and Carbon Cannabis in La Crosse, WI.

But the roots go deeper than that.

The hemp behind Less Noise is grown through Urban Triage's Hemp Specialty Crop Program for Entrepreneurs, a 12-week training program that puts land, knowledge, and business tools directly in the hands of people in our community.

This is what it looks like in practice:

• Hands-on agricultural training with real crops, real outcomes
• Business development skills, not just farming, but ownership
• Startup support is designed to create generational opportunity, not temporary income

And here's the part corporate wellness brands don't talk about: produce grown through our programs is distributed free to local residents. Because healing has to include food. Because wellness can't stop at your medicine cabinet.

This is seed-to-system agriculture. This is what economic empowerment actually looks like when a Black-led nonprofit builds it from the ground up.

Why Less Noise, and Why Right Now

You already know what's happening. Federal funding for Black-led agriculture and community-based nonprofits is being gutted. Urban Triage has felt those cuts. We've watched millions disappear from programs that were working.

We chose a different path.

Less Noise is our answer to dependency on systems that were never built for us, on funders who can pull the floor out from under you with a policy change, on a model of survival that keeps us perpetually one grant cycle away from crisis.

Less Noise is about economic independence. It's about owning something. It's about Wisconsin's Black and brown communities building wealth through agriculture, the same land, the same labor, a radically different outcome.

This is not just a product launch. It's a shift in strategy.

April 20 wasn't chosen by accident.

For too long, 4/20 has been a cultural joke, a stigma, a reason to dismiss hemp and cannabis as tools of wellness and economic power. Less Noise reclaims that date.

We're flipping the script, from shame to sovereignty, from stigma to healing, from a meme to a movement.
